Syok sendiri

06Aug08

Aku dulu pernah perasan sorang-sorang
Perasan diri ni seorang dai’e
Haha, syok sorang-sorang
Datang seorang teman ingatkan aku
Mana mungkin mengaku bapa kalau tiada anak
suami kalau tiada isteri
guru kalau tiada murid
dai’e kalau tiada mad’u

….eh kejap, mana mad’u aku ??

laa aku tak pernah terpk buat usrah lagi,

syok sendiri rupanya…

Verily MANKIND has always been ARROGANT.

No matter how much wealth we posses, how high our status are, we will always STRUGGLE TO ANSWER these questions, even though we TRY VERY HARD TO HIDE it.

Where were we come from, why were we brought to this earth, where are we going from here

We can move our lips, uttering the answer to these questions, but in REALITY, we don’t really live as if we knew the answer.

We will remain in HEEDLESSNESS until DEATH STRIKES us, and only then the VEIL will be LIFTED UP and we will WITNESS the REAL MEANING OF LIFE.

“Pack up your luggage! Your TIME is UP”

Even BLOOD running out from our TEARS, there will be NO TURNING BACK. Just like a newborn baby, crying, wanting to be returned to the womb. How impossible.

-consider yourself warned.

Mataku terus menipu diriku.

Agression

22Jul08

For some of us, this is just another scene from a movie. Watching while eating popcorn and wondering when it’s going to be end.

If we remained silent, wait until Allah’s punishment gets us!!!

And fear tumult or oppression, which affects not in particular (only) those of you who do wrong: and know that Allah is strict in punishment. (Anfal:25)

Sang Jihad

Dalam seminggu, setiap hari perlu 20 minit jogging, 20 kali sit up dan 20 kali push up.

Kemudian aku diberi briefing beberapa hari sebelum mukhayyam supaya aku bersedia mentally.

The world bemoans as no mother would ever be able to give birth to the likes of Khalid Al Walid.

Khalid, one of two guys in the Arab peninsular who can fight with 2 swords using both hands during his time. Go figure out who was the other guy!!

Let’s get some energy bar from Daurah Shahadatain and get ready to race in Tokyo, a city with 12 million people. (That’s like half of Malaysia’s population)

Maafkan aku

25Jun08

Sedang sibuk aku melukis litar circuit time kerja, tiba-tiba fikiran aku melayang.
Aku terdengar jeritan makcik dalam video Hachiouji tu,

`aina anta!!, aina anta!!!`

Maafkan aku makcik, inshAllah akanku jawab laungan mu.

It’s already been about 16 months since I came to Japan and I’ve seen a tremendous change in the da’wah landscape among the Malaysian students.

One of the most intriguing questions that puzzled me when I came to Japan was why there are 2 Malaysian muslim groups, AMIR and IPIJ in Japan. Unlike in the US where there is only, the one and the only MISG (used to be two in US, the other one was banned). I believe this question did not only haunted me but the other new students as well.

One of the consequences caused by the presence of these two groups as far as I can sense (even though some people might act like they don’t see it) is both groups are competing against each other. As a result, within this 16 months in Japan so many changes happened in terms of doing usrah, daurah, retreats, summer camp, winter gathering and the list goes on.

This should be a ‘great hip hooray news’ (or ‘let’s make a kenduri kesyukuran news’) for the ones who call themselves dai’e. The one who will be saddened by this reality, is no one except the jaahilis and shaitan.

For me, this is not a race between two groups pushing themselves trying to prove who make a better da’wa, more influential, bigger in number instead this is in essence a competition against jahiliyah.

Let’s look at a bigger picture, ever since Adam (as) was created, Shaitan declared a jihad against us with his uncompromised efforts to derail us from the straight path. Da’wa is a call not against other group but against shaitan and the jahiliyah.

Given a daunting nature in Japan, one might easily trapped in the jahiliyah environment. So with the more efforts on calling to Islam, it should be a great news for the callers to Islam.

However there is only thing that concerns me. I hope my ikhwah and akhawat, my beloved friends in AMIR and IPIJ always be cautious towards your niyah. Be critical! Question yourself, why are you doing what you are doing?

Are you doing it for Allah, or are you doing for the sake of your group?
Are you competing for Allah’s reward or are you competing on who gets more members?

Most important thing, question yourself “Where am I calling these people to” ,
Let us all call towards Islam, provide them with the true understanding of Islam according to the Quran and Sunnah.
Fight the nafs inside you that insisting you to call others towards you.
Don’t be trapped by your nafs making you feel good on how many people have joined you.

Try to understand the words of the great Mujaddid, Imam Al Banna (rh) “Ke Arah Mana Kita Menyeru Manusia” really well. Read, understand and reflect it deeply.

Let us work really hard for Islam. The victory is coming soon inshAllah.

To each is a goal to which Allah turns him; then strive together (as in a race) Towards all that is good. Wheresoever you are, Allah will bring you Together. For Allah has power over all things.
(2:148 )
