If it comes from the tongue of Jesus (peace be upon him) in the language he spoke which is Aramaic I would have believed in the same way as you do. Unfortunately your pope and priests twisted the words, changed the language of Jesus (peace be upon him) and your divine revelation (bible) got revised every now and then.
