‘Omiyage’ from Kannonzaki

Last week I went to a camp organized by the Japanese Muslim Association. It was pretty fun. It is not my intention to describe about what happened during the camp in this post. However I met with a young japanese ‘alim Imam Abu Hakim who studied under Shaykh Muhammad Yaqoubi. Shaykh Yaqoubi is one of the renowned scholars. Besides being the direct descendant of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), he grew up educated by his father Shaykh Ibrahim Yaqoubi. So I learnt a du’a from Imam Abu Hakim who mentioned that this is one of his favorite du’as. Upon hearing this beautiful du’a I directly went to him and asked him to teach me the du’a. Well here it goes. Sorry I don’t have arabic font yet.
Allahumma ar Zuknaa Hubbak, Wa hubba Man Yuhibbuk, Wa Hubba ‘Amalin Solihin Yukorribuna ila Hubbik
Oh Allah, grant us your Love, and Love of the one who loves you and the love of good deeds that make us closer to your Love.
