Talib Al Habib’s new album

This is probably the first time I write about nasheed. Well I just found out about this artist named Talib Al Habib. His piece ‘Rahma’ is so beautiful and soothing to the ears. The nasheeds are mostly inspired by the hadith of Rasulullah (saw). I’m not sure the rulings behind composing a hadith into nasheed. However I heard the artists that sang about hadith many had consulted with ‘aalim. Talib Al Habib himself is a student of sacred knowledge. I’m sure he is more knowledgeable than most of us in this issue. What make his songs distinguished from the rest are due to his harmonious voice, traditional instruments used and powerful lyrics. Such that are very hard to find in the contemporary nasheeds. Whatever their efforts might be, may Allah reward them abundantly.
