Being in a new place actually gives new insight, new understanding when reading Quran.  The feelings when reading some aayah are different when I were in Japan or Malaysia.  Aayah about thunder and rain probably gives less impact to me in Egypt than in Malaysia as Egypt only experience rain twice a year. Aayah about unbelievers and tawhid give better meaning in Japan. In Egypt, aayah about believers, racing towards good, give more impact to me. Here, masjids are frequently visited, people go to masjid upon azan, workers pray anywhere on time, mom and daughter read quran in car, people give salam when embarking public transport.
